Presentation perfect.
Slight vertical fracture centrally and partial fading about halfway, second overbreak about 2 centimeters from the center.
Other than that, no comments. The fracture itself light enough to be almost barely noticeable.
A sought after banknote in such states of preservation. In circulation from 27.08.1923 to 15.10.1923 (withdrawn by Senate decision). The banknote was created by printing in green the denomination of 5 million marks, on the banknote of 50 thousand marks on 20.03.1923, due to galloping inflation.
It is worth mentioning that this banknote was printed on unfortunate thick paper of heavy weight, on top of that the format itself, i.e. its size, meant that it did not fit in a wallet, hence it was folded, and thus it was sooner subjected to rapid wear and tear in circulation. Encountering a piece like the one in the auction is one of the rare situations.
