The 500 and 1000 denominations are the crown items of the issue of the Free City of Danzig.
They are the highest in terms of purchasing value, the largest in format in the guilder issue and of beautiful design.
In addition, preserved in beautiful issue condition, they are a real ornament of the collection and are of interest not only to Polish collectors.
Here we are dealing with an excellent piece for this denomination.
The PMG annotation - "previously mounted" - probably due to two delicate yellowish marks on the edge of the left margin on the reverse side. Very light, practically unnoticeable.
A delicate pencil annotation of a former price, easily rubbed off, is visible in the upper right corner.
Otherwise without any comments.
Beautiful.
The obverse shows an impressive representation of the Danzig armory.
Recommended.
