A rare vintage of the first of two types of 25-gold coins of the Kingdom of Poland.
A type without a raised rim, prone to rapid abrasion of the portrait relief, especially with such a soft metal as gold.
Very nice, with lots of luster. On the reverse side a natural mirror.
The rim is beveled.
Gold, diameter 19 mm, weight 4.87 g.
Obverse: head of Alexander I to the right, in the rim: ALEXANDER I - EMPEROR SA - W - ROS - KING OF POLAND *.
Reverse: Russian-Polish eagle, under the paws initials I.B. and date 1818; in the rim: * 50 ZLOTYS - POLSK - 52 Z GRZ - CZ - KOL *.
