The last of three very rare late denarii of Boleslaw IV.
The so-called half-bracteate minting of the obverse, with a depiction of the head facing right, with the ruler's name in the rim (in a mistranscription).
A type only occasionally found at auctions.
The present piece is the prettiest representative of this type we have so far offered.
Silver, diameter 15.7 mm, weight 0.24 g.
