A very rare Silesian brakteat.

Issue attributed to the reign of Henry the Bearded, minted in Wroclaw, not belonging to the group of Rataj brakteats.

Very nicely preserved. Slightly bent and cracked, but fully legible and with mirror.

Representation: a head in a helmet under a cross, between a pennant and a turret. All around a pearl lag. Smooth shaft.

Dating: 1201-1238.

Silver, diameter 18.5 mm, weight 0.18 g.
