The first vintage of the Torun orts minted after the interruption of the Swedish occupation of the city. An occupation that ended with the symbolic entry of King John Casimir into a recaptured Toruń on January 1, 1659.
Variety without the triangle at the top of the reverse, above the head of the Angel. Additionally with an error in the king's name (CASM instead of CASIM).
A very rare and beautifully preserved item. The prettiest representative of this variety we have offered so far.
