A rare ort from the second vintage of their Danzig issue during the time of John II.
Variant with single border on obverse and reverse, and bust of king with mascaron (shoulder with lion's head).
Variant with MONET... GEDANEN on the reverse.
Scratched on obverse; very nice reverse. Mint disc chipping; coin in a nice old patina with a glow of luster peeking through from the nooks and crannies of the background. Despite the scratches, attractive overall perception of the coin.
