Very rare type of Cracow brakteat of Leszek the White or his successors.
A type with a representation of a bearded man facing right, with an open hand raised, with a Jewish cap on his head. Surrounded by a Hebrew inscription described by Dobrochna Gorlinska as "towa bracha" (good blessing, on this piece twice "blessing").
One interpretation of this iconography is that the figure is an Old Testament hero, e.g. Moses.
We had this type in our offer only once (GNDM 16/1021 sold for PLN 13,570).
Coin with clearances, but also mint luster.
Silver, diameter 14 mm, weight 0.09 g.
