In 1792, after the death of Ephraim Brenn, the Mint Commission decided to break with the previous tradition of placing the initials of the administrators on coins. It was decided to designate the Mint, depending on the language used on the coin - M.V. (Monetaria Varsoviensis) or M.W. (Warsaw Mint).
The present piece is an early type struck before the manager's death, with his initials E.B. at the bottom of the reverse.
Nice state of preservation. Lots of natural luster on the reverse.
