A very rare variety with an error in the king's name - missing the letter S in SIG.
There is one 1597 trojak in Iger's catalog with a bust with a large orifice (P.97.5.d defined by the grade R3), but it is a different variety (REX not separated, POLONIAE instead of POLONIE on the reverse). Absence of the letter S clear, it is imitated only by a slight crack in the stamp going between the crown and the abutment.
Very nice state of preservation. With luster. In patina.
