A very rare issue.
A coin whose reverse is a continuation of the lion battle motif, but with a new obverse depicting the prince with a pennant. According to Stronczynski, the type was minted for a short time, which is confirmed by his finds at the time: in Urbanice it accounted for a mere 1.5% among a large group of 1700 Wladyslaw coins, and there were a mere 3 pieces in the Golice treasury.
A beautiful, selected piece. Centrally, well struck. In the patina of the former collection.
Variety with a ring over the duke's shield.
Silver, diameter ~13 mm, weight 0.52 g.
