Slightly cleaned, but nice in appearance, silver medal from the second year of Pope Gregory XVI's pontificate (1832).
On the reverse is a scene of the Roman Revolution with a standing Ecclesia wearing a helmet, spear and shield; on the left is the river god Tiber, and on the right is a fleeing giant on serpentine legs. In the background is St. Peter's Basilica.
