Numerous typographical errors, however – contrary to most of the auction descriptions – they are typical for ducats from the Zwolle mint. In particular, the spelling of the emperor’s name FARDIN or FARDINAN instead of FERDINAND is the most popular or the only one for many dates. Similarly, misspelled MONFA instead of MONEA, IMPFR instead of IMPER, or AVRFA instead of AVREA.

Above average condition. Lots of mint luster. The few scratches on the planchet were probably made before the coin was minted, because they do not go through the elements of the minted image, which can be clearly seen to the right of the ruler’s foot.
